At the LanguageOne schools, the privacy of the pupils is carefully handled. Every school needs data to be able to give pupils good education and to guide them. The data is also stored for administrative and financial purposes.
Most of the pupils’ data comes from parents (such as when enrolling at school), but teachers and support staff also record data about pupils (e.g. grades and progress).
Personal data may be shared with affiliated companies, for the purpose of concluding and fulfilling agreements, direct marketing and support with concluded agreements. The bases for these are legitimate interest and execution of the agreement.
Every school year, we ask for specific permission for using visual material of pupils via the registration form. Parents may always decide not to consent or to withdraw previously given consent.
