Children can attend LanguageOne Doha from the age of 3 up to 18. For younger students, they must be toilet-trained and accustomed to a school environment.

There are two options: lessons integrated into the daily program of Compass International School Doha and after-school lessons.

The program is organized thematically and focuses on the four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. In the lower grades, the emphasis is on learning through play and language development, with familiar themes and a strong focus on reading enjoyment. In the upper grades, students prepare to return to Dutch-language education or to obtain a recognized Dutch diploma within the international curriculum (such as the IB MYP or DP with Dutch A/B). Students aged 15–16 can also take the CNaVT exam. Dutch A is offered remotely through LanguageOne Online. Check the schedule here.

LanguageOne Doha provides integrated and after-school lessons at Compass International School Doha The after-school lessons are grouped by age and level. The exact lesson times are coordinated with the The schedule of the international day schools.

The tuition fee for the after-school lessons (for part of a year) is stated in our General terms and conditions for our Doha location. The tuition fee for the integrated lessons is included in the tuition of our partner school, Compass International School Doha.

It’s possible to schedule a trial lesson for your child. You can easily request one yourself. The location manager will then contact you to schedule an appointment.

No, we don’t offer private lessons, but we’re happy to help you find the best solution for your child. We offer personalized instruction in small classes. Private lessons are available through LanguageOne Online.

In addition to language lessons, we also devote significant attention to Dutch and Flemish culture at our locations. We do this through recognizable activities and celebrations, such as King’s Day, Children’s Book Week, and Sinterklaas. This way, children experience the language not only in the classroom but also in a meaningful and festive context. This way, they stay connected to the culture, traditions, and stories of their home country.
