Unlike the Netherlands, the school year in Australia runs from January until December. Language One, which is situated in the city Pert, provides Dutch language and cultural education to Dutch-speaking students, Dutch for beginners and special Dutch Kindy-groups for toddlers.
Last mentioned group is all about learning through singing and playing. LanguageOne also organises a lot of cultural activities. Meaning, our pupils take actively part in the Dutch ‘Kinderboekenweek’ and ‘Koningsdag’ (celebration of the King’s birthday in the Netherlands).
